PRH AP Davit System
The PRH AP series are standard delivered with a hydraulic power unit and a hydraulic operated winch, optionally an hydraulic painter line boom is available.
PRH AP davit systems are available in two (2) versions :
- Interceptor / Workboat Davit Systems
- Fast Rescue Boat Davit System; this version of the PRH AP is manufactured in accordance with the latest IMO / SOLAS requirements, LSA Code and European Council Directive 96/98 EC on Marine Equipment (MED)

The davit is equipped with its own hydraulic power pack which can be placed on or below deck. The davit will be supplied as a complete, independent unit . Only the highest quality equipment has been chosen and installed to ensure the lowest possible emission, sound maintenance, as well as good safe access for service. The davit is equipped with a well dimensioned “shock absorber” system to avoid overload of the davit system in rough operating conditions. The winch is also equipped with a full hydraulic constant tensioning system. For proper retrieval and operation of the boat a well proven hydraulically operated anti-pendulum system ( AP system) is mounted onto the davit head.
The launching procedure can be controlled in two (2) ways i.e. :
- From control stand ( normal procedure for launch and recovery operations).
- From inside the beat ( emergency operations-under Solas regulations).

Hydraulic Pivoting Davit Systems |
|
PRHE Davit System
Hydraulic Pivoting A-frame Davit suitable to handle rescue boats. The PRHE davit system is equipped with a self contained hydraulic power pack unit and an electric rescue boat winch.
Pivoting outboard of the boat from its stowed position into launch position is realised by means of accumulated power, lowering of the rescue boat is by means of gravity . The pivoting motion is actuated from within the rescue boat by means of remote control pull wire and can be controlled by one person. Optionally an hydro-pneumatic 'shock absorber' can be included , to dampen forces on davit structure, winch drum, steel wire rope and the boat during launch and recovery operations. |

Hydraulic Slewing Davit
SCHD Series
The SCHD davit is a freestanding deck mounted davit consisting of a davit arm, a flange/pedestal, a hydraulic driven slewing ring, an electrical driven rescue boat winch and an integrated hydraulic power pack unit. The slewing motion is actuated from within the rescue boat by means of a remote control pull wire. Lowering of the rescue boat is by means of gravity. |

Life Raft Davit Systems |
|
Manual Slewing Davit : SCM-L Series
The SCM-L Life Raft Davit is a freestanding deck mounted davit consisting of a davit arm, column and life raft winch. The davit has been designed for safe and efficient launching of a fully manned life-raft against unfavourable conditions of trim of up to 10 degrees and a list of up to 20 degrees either way. Lowering of the fully manned life raft is realized by means of gravity.
Slewing outboard is done manually by means of a crank handle .
Recovery of the empty hook is realized manually by using the crank handle of the winch. Dependant on the lowering height and the number of life rafts , the winch can be equipped with a so-called “quick-return unit” for easy and fast retrieval of the empty hook. Capacity up to 39 person life rafts. |

Gravity Pivoting Davit |
|
|
PBR Series
The PBR Life Raft Davit consists of abase frame , davit arm & a winch. The system is suitable for safe & efficient launching & recovery of a (multiple) fully manned life rafts.
Pivoting out the davit arm is realized by means of gravity . The correct outboard position will be achieved automatically which will save valuable time as it will only take a couple of seconds before the first life raft can be inflated.
The PBR Davit has been provided with a locking device in order to secure the davit arm in 3 different positions, i.e. : in stowed position, in 20O list low side position and in full outboard position. |

Hydraulic Pivoting Davit
PFH Series
The PFH davit consist of two davit arms, each supported by a davit stool, cylinders , an electric winch and hydraulic power pack unit. The system is suitable for safe and efficient launching and recovery of a fully manned life / rescue boat and workboats.

Free Fall Life Boat Davit |
|
|
FFH Series
The FFH davit is a deck to wall mounted davit placed at the stern of the ship, and consists of a launch ramp, davit arm (A-frame), winch and hydraulic power pack unit.
The launch ramp has been provided with sliding pads for smooth acceleration of the boat . In those cases where free-fall launch appears to be unpractical or unsafe , the system has also been provided with a secondary means to launch the lifeboat by falls.
Recovery of the lifeboat with its launching crew (4 persons) can be realized by using the hydraulic driven winch . For easy positioning of the life boat back into its launch ramp, the davit arm and launch |
